Hello wesbrent,

Welcomr to the Community!

Can you please check the URL with BrightCloud   to see the ratings? And go here to Manage Active Connections and you could also  Contact Support to check this out.

As for a good drivers program maybe one of our Forum Experts can assist here as well. @  and TripleHelix might have some ideas what you can use.  IMO I only use Windows updates and driver updates from the Website only from the known driver. Like Nividia.com...Intel.com, etc.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,
Hello there!

Webroot is likely, by default, to block driver downloads from almost ANY 3rd party source.  Downloads from sources OTHER than the manufacturer are notorious for being sources of malware as well as what we call PUA's.  (PUA's are any software added onto the download or install of the software you want... like the McAfee trial that is often offered when installing Adobe software).

Another name for a PUA is garbage, and we get a huge number of posts here asking for help in removing them.

The best source for ANY hardware driver is directly from the manufacturer of the device in question.
