I haven't heard of this. Looks like enabling your popup blocker will stop this,
 
Pop-up Blocker limits or blocks pop-ups on sites that you visit. You can choose the level of blocking you prefer, turn on or off notifications when pop-ups are blocked, or create a list of sites that you don't want to block pop-ups on. Pop-up Blocker settings only apply to Internet Explorer for the desktop.
 
The following are some common reasons why you might still be seeing pop-ups:
 

• You might have software, such as adware or spyware, on your computer that is opening pop-up windows. To stop these pop-ups, you will have to identify the software that is opening them and then remove it or change its settings to stop it from opening pop-up windows.
• Some windows with active content are not blocked.
• Internet Explorer will not block pop-ups from websites that are in the Local intranet zone. If you want the pop-ups from these websites to be blocked, you have to remove the websites from this zone.

 
Method 1: Run Internet Explorer Safety troubleshooter.
a.       Press Start key on the keyboard.
b.       Click on Control Panel.
c.       Type troubleshooting in the search tab and press Enter.
d.       Click View all on left panel.
e.       Click Internet Explorer Safety, new window will popup.
f.        Follow the on screen instructions.
 
 
Method 2: Please enable pop-up blocker.

Hi ElScmittouI am afraid that I believe that if this has gotten onto your system you will really need to contact the Support Team by Opening that Support Ticket that Sherry advised on.From my research this particular nasty is a non-malware application that we in the Community term a PUA or Potentially Unwanted Application. These can take over your browser & searching facilities, generate popups, etc., but thankfully are rarely malicious...they are usually just trying to sell you something.They can be hard to remove and that may also require a number of technical steps hence the suggestion that you contact the Support Desk as they should be able to assist/undertake this for you. It is a free service cor WSA users with a current subscription.For future reference these are most commonly picked up by downloading software from 3rd party sites...one should always try to get an app from the author's site or their recommendation of a 3rd party provider. And when running installers one should check what is displayed as options before press 'next', 'proceed', etc., as often these PUAs are offered quite openly but with the install option pre checked...so an overt act to NOT install is required.Well, I hope that this helps?Regards, Baldrick
