When I updated my subscription through geek squad, my webroot continues to say that my subscription is expired. Also, when I updated, I went to my online account and found that it said that I was protected, but with only 30 days on the licensce, despite the fact that I purchased a year subscription.

Hello Nathan,welcome to the Community!
If you have updated your subscription overnight, your credit card will not have been billed yet, so you are in a 30 day grace period instead of a full year renewal. Here are a few things to know about the Best Buy billing system:
Best Buy only runs the billing in one large batch every night, not in real time. The batching process and credit card pre-authing process begins in mid afternoon, so if you updated your credit card information any time after 2 PM yesterday afternoon, your card will not be billed until the next batch tonight.
Please check your credit card account to verify that you have not yet been billed.
By this time tomorrow morning your credit card will have been billed, and your software probably will show the new expiration date, though it can take until 7 AM for all renewal data to be sent to Webroot.
That 30 days showing on the license currently is an automatic 30 day grace period that Best Buy provides it's Subscription Software customers to keep them protected both during the billing process and also in the event that your credit card is declined for any reason. You would still be protected as a courtesy until you are able to provide alternative payment information.
i hope this helps, but if you have any questions, please let me know.
