I am using a Webroot secure Anywhere version 8.9.5.66: 130 in my MAC AIR PRO 10.8.2 OSX, 8 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3 which cannot perform a manual scan with error message "1st scan failed". Time elapsed 1 sec. Kindly help me perform my 1st scan. Thank you.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I got the initial version of Webroot from Bestbuy. It worked fine after 2 days & had excellent scans (5 full scans). However, on Day 2 , after a Skype conversation, I noticed an error message. I then tried to download the wbn based version 5X still with the same error message. Can you please help me correct the problem? I resorted back to the original CD version but STILL "Scan Failed" message after 1 sec.

They should contact you within 24 hours and I'm sure you will be contacted by tomorrow maybe because it's a Mac issue I don't know but I will find out more tomorrow.
