I purchased a new upgrade for this year, came home and cd wont run because geeksquad has block something only allowing me to purchase off the internet through them, so the cd wont run from the store and i paid $50.00, this is my 3rd year doing this and only this has happend this year.
can you help

Can you please follow the steps closely!

 


  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again

First, I do not know just why the CD is not working right, but we can take care of that.  Up until recently I was a Geek Squad employee, NOT at the store level, and I can assure you that they most certainly did not block your copy.  That just is not possible.

 

It is quite possible that your CD could be a 'bad burn'.  It does sometimes happen.  Just use the PC Download link below in my signature, and that should take care of it for you.  

 

If you have any problems with the download, or installing it, please let us know.  We will get you up and going.  :)
