How can I switch my webroot client from an external to internal drive?
When I orginally downloaded the trial version, I did so to my 4 TB external drive. Now that I purchased the full version, I would like to switch it to one of my two internal drives. I have a 80 gig C drive and a 500 gig D drive. I wish to switch the webroot client from my external 4 TB i drive to my internal 500 gig D drive. I am using windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit version, I also have another external hard drive of 2 TB connected to my computer if that matters.

I'm rather puzzled here for I wasn't aware you could put Webroot on an external drive. I know you can right click and scan external drive but other then that I'm unsure of what you are asking.
You can uninstall Webroot and install on your Internal drive if that's what you are asking.
Maybe you can clarify this more for us? Excuse me if I don't understand.

Lets see if I can write this so that even my little sister can understand.
When I first downloaded the trial version, I had saved the purchased client where the trial was saved ( on my 4 TB external hard drive. ).
After I scanned my computer, a threat was found. I was instructed to disconnect any usb attached items,.
I could not do because I had saved the purchased client where the trial was saved ( on my external ). If I were to disconnect that drive, then I would not have been able to use the program whatsoever would I?
Now If I were to install it on my internal 500 gig D drive ( I would prefer not to install it on my 80 gig C drive ), after deleting it from my 4 TB i drive, would it count as a second installation?

The answer to your question is yes that counts as a second installation. Webroot can only be installed one drive per subscription unless you upgrade Webroot for 3 devices or purchase another Webroot for that drive. I have Webroot installed on two partitions and that counts for 2 licenses.

Of course it's possible to transfer your valid license to another computer/drive, however first of all you must uninstall it from the previous one.
In general security software working in the real-time shound't be installed on the external drives (it's a good idea only for on-demand scanners).

I already have the ability to install on three devices, However, I just checked and found the program was installed on my C drive where I DO NOT WANT IT TO BE.
The idjit who built my computer was given a 500 gig hard drive by me and installed it as a second drive instead as the main C drive ( which is only 80 gigs ) that I wanted it to be. Now I need be conserned with keeping my C drive below 50%.

If you uninstall and reinstall to your second HDD it wont count as a second use of your license. Feel free to do so.
