How do I add my protection to a second computer? I have the 2003-2010 WebRoot personal security software. It seems to be incompatible with my second computer (Windows 8.1). Is it possible to add the security to my second computer without purchasing any type of upgraded software? Thank you in advance
Hi cbrownsr,

If I remember correctly, as long as the product key is still active, it should work for the new version of WSA, even if the key was purchased for the old software. Just download the updated installed (see links in my signature below ;)) & enter your keycode!

Let us know if this works,

Shran
Hi cbrownsr

Welcome to the Community Foirums.

I am not familiar with the"2003-2010 WebRoot personal security software".  Prior to Webroot SecureAnyWhere in it's current form I am only aware of the likes of Spy Sweeper or Webroot 2011, which are now discontinued, and to be honest I am not surprised that the legacy software will not run under WIndows 8/8.1

If you have a subscription for the latest version, i.e., Webroot SecureAnyWhere, and it is good for more than one device then all you need to do is to download the installer from here , and making sure that you have your keycode to hand proceed with the install of WSA by clicking on the installer.

If you do not have a keycode for the latest version of WSA then I would contact the Sales Team (UK: 0870 141 7070

, US: 866-612-4268) , explain the situation to them and see if they can cut you a deal on an upgrade.

Hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick
