I renewed my subscription for another year yesterday, but this morning our laptop indicated our virus protection was off. I have checked the box to turn it on several times, but nothing happens. Am I protected?

Sorry about the issue you're seeing. You will still be protected regardless, if Webroot is saying it's on.
If the steps above don't work, then please get back with more info (did you renew, or buy a new keycode, same source etc?), or else you are free to Submit a Support Ticket and they'll sort it out.
