I purchased and installed WebRoot yesterday. This morning my wife's and my e-mail have been hacked and so has my phone. The only thing that links my phone to my e-mail is Webroot. Add in that the third connection is also comprimised, it doesn't look good. Did I waste my money on WebRoot and should have stuck with SOPHOS?

Best Regards,
I am sorry that you are having these problems!
It would be co-incidance that you were hacked right after installing WSA. The email hack was most likely a vulnerability for a LONG time as there have been a number of HUGE breaks recenlty that would have left you vulnerable. There have been hundreds of millions of accounts made vulerable over the last few months, but only now are those stolen credentials really being used. If you had not changed your email passwords within the last couple of months, you were open to having the email hacked, just everyone has been.
I really cannot say about the phone as I do not know exactly what happened there, but please follow up with the Trouble Ticket Sherry suggested for it.
I hope Support can help out, and remember to change all of your passwords, and do not use the same password for more than one account!
