Hello ?,
Welcome to the Webroot Community.
Sorry to hear you're having installation issues.
First of all, can I ask where you purchased your license/keycode for Webroot? The reason I ask is that
many times people buy copies of Webroot from sources that are not reputable, like eBay or Amazon. These copies may be counterfeit or stolen. Best Buy versions of Webroot are also sold on these sites. These copies are activated at the time of purchase, and, if resold on these sites, may be expired or have only a few months remaining on the license.
If your license was purchased from Webroot or another reputable sourece then please read on.
You said you had McAfee on your system. Could you please run the McAfee removal tool as McAfee can be a pain to completely uninstall.
McAfee removal tool
Then after running that could you please uninstall Webroot and reinstall using the exact directions and download links below.
Please follow the steps closely!
If you are still experiencing problems after doing this then the best thing would be to submit a trouble ticket so that support can check things for you.
Please let us know how this goes for you.
If you're still having problems we will be happy to help you.
Have a good evening,

- Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
- Uninstall WSA and Reboot (Uninstall from the Start Menu or the Control Panel, Programs and Features, etc.)
- Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
