Bought webroot on amazon download on October 28 after norton expired. As soon as it was downloaded, Internet Explorer won't work. I have Uninstalled it and reinstalled it and restarted the computer and it still won't work. Help! I went with webroot due to good reviews and lower cost than norton but am already second guessing the choice.

Hello there, welcome to the Community!
The problem you are having might NOT be from Webroot. While it CAN happen, an uninstall / reinstall pretty much always fixes the problem if caused by WSA.
Did you uninstall the expired Norton software? While Norton USUALLY uninstalls without a problem, when it fails to uninstall correctly it fails rather spactacularly. I have seen many times that IE or other web browsers will no longer work after Norton is uninstalled the normal way.
The first thing for you to try is to use the Norton Removal Tool. If the problem has been caused by an uninstall fail of the Norton, this almost always repairs the problem.
Let us know if this helps,

Greetings tp2010 and welcome to the forums!
After uninstalling Norton completely using thier tool.........................
Then, open Webroot GUI/click on the little COG to the right of Identity Protection/click Application Protection/Click Add Application/ and add IE to your Protected Applications. If you have a 64bit box you may have to add both instances of IE. ie: the entry from Program Files and Program Files x86.
Let us know how you make out?

Please be careful moving anything from "Protected" to "Allowed" as it doesn't provide the same full level of protection. If you're having issues getting Internet Explorer to run with both Webroot and Norton installed please open a support ticket as this is an issue we are currently trying to get as much information about.
If you would not like to do so doing a full uninstall of all Norton products should correct the IE loading issue you're having.
