I previously had webroot through our geek squad tech support subscription. I let that lapse and did not renew that coverage. Today I went to best buy and bought the Webroot Internet Security Plus 1 device 2 years. I uninstalled my old webroot, used the disc to install my new webroot and registered it through the website. The website says my liscense duration has 730 days remaining. My webroot icon on the bottom of my computer says I am protected but my subscription is expired. Am I covered? What do I need to do about this?
Thanks

Hi brookef
Welcome to the Community Forums.
GIven what you say I am thinking that the uninstall was not complete and that as a result there was some information relating to your previous license remaining, and that the expired message is related to that subscription rather than to your current one. Was the expiry date of your previously license within 30 days of the message appearing by any chance?
The best thing that you can do, in the first instance, is to contact Best Buy/The Geek Squad and see what they have to say about this. If they are unable to assist then you can Open a Support Ticket so that the Webroot Support Team can take a look at this for you.
If WSA is showing Green, with the Tick & 'Protected' showing in the top half of the main app panel then you are properly protected, which is the main thing.
