Okay, so this morning when I tried to log into account.webroot.com, it says an error occured whuile processing your request. Anyone else? What is with all the website problems and changes lately?

I didn’t have any problem logging on to the New Portal just now. I do have a problem with getting one of my licenses transferred to the New Portal. I’ll probably put a Support Ticket in on that.

With your problem it would probably be best to put a Support Ticket in also.

Support: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/about/contact-us

Business Support: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/business/support/contact

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

@jreddoch if you’re talking about your Account Portal, they did away with the Old Portal and moved everyone to the New Portal. See this thread:

Yes, I know. I AM talking about the new portal, which is account.webroot.com, right? Can you log in there?

I just saw a strange behavior that caused me to not be able to log in on the first two attempts.

1). The username password fields are showing (ONLY), I enter my info and press enter, and, I am told I did not complete the CAPTCHA, which NOT shows up.
2). So I answered the captcha and hit enter, and it fails again, because the web page erased my password.
3).  I re-enter my password and hit enter, and it fails again, because I guess I was supposed to do the captcha again?
4). So I enter my user name, my password, and the time I finished the captcha and it moved on to the 2FA screen, which when entered let me enter.

I can see why someone might have trouble logging in, because this cycle could have gone on and one if it keep alternation which field it clears.

As a previous UI designer, IMO that is a most unfriendly login screen.  The captcha not showing up the first time looks like a bug (but could be Safari’s fault - things often are), but easing the captcha when I reenter my password is not user friendly, especially if one does no’t really know it has been cleared.  I get it, web security is a tricky thing, but so is being user friendly.
