Hello Leod,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Yes I would certainly use PW Manager and utilize this feature of Webroot Internet Security Plus.

Here is information on this,  please look here.

Here is a Video of How to use PW Manager

Just encase you need information to Transfer Passwords to LastPass

Hope this helps and if not do get back to us.

Kind Regards,

Hi Leod

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Just to add to what Sherry has advised...if I may...I feel I should point out that it very much depends on the circumstances of how your friend got hacked & by what means as to what you can do to protect yourself from the eventuality.

Whilst using a password manager like Last Pass of the Password Manager that comes with WSA, this in itself is not a fullproof way of preventing hacking.  A mixture of safe browsing/internet & email usage goes hand in hand with the use of a password manager & the use of some of the other Shields that WSA provides.

I would not want you to believe that just the use of a password manager will suffice...as it won't...it will just help some;)

Hope that helps further?

Regards, Baldrick

Thank you. I accept your advise as a solution, along with the previous reply. I think the combination of both are good guides.
