I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop. I has windows 10. When I finish setting it, I download webroot free trial, then enter my key. After that, if I turn it off, the laptop goes into automatic repair and then goes to a blue screen that tells me the computer did not start properly. Once that happens the only thing I can do is to reset the computer, it takes about 3 hours, if I go thru the set up again and download webroot free trial and enter my key, then turn off the computer, same thing happens. Can anyone help me out with this.

Hello DBerumen, welcome to the Community!
While there have not been many problems, there have been a few incidents reported of behavior like this. I do know that Webroot is compatible with WIndows 10, but there has been something that here and there results in this problem
.
Webroot is aware of it, and actively looking into it. Please submit a Trouble Ticket to have Webroot Support take a look. There is no charge for this as Support is included with your Webroot license. Hopefully they will get you up and going, as well as get more data with which they can fix the problem for everyone.
Thanks!

Amazon is sending me a replacement. I wonder if maybe I shouldn't install webroot on it. Can webroot help me to figure this out?
Yes, they probably can. Submit the Trouble Ticket and see what they have to say. As I noted, there HAVE been some reports of this happening, and from what I can tell it tends to be specifc brand and model computer it might occur with. They are working on it, and likley will be able to give you a hand with it.
