Hi! I just purchased webroot and downloaded it to my computer, and where I should be running the new download, an orange screen pops up and tells me my subscription has expired! Help! Thank you!

Where did you purchase Webroot?  Directly from Webroot?  From a store such as Best Buy?  Online, and if so, from which website?

I bought directly from Webroot.
Double check the key code.  Make sure that you have entered it exactly correctly.  If one digit is entered wrong, it might show as expired.

 

If you have the key code exactly as it was sent to you, and it still shows expired, you will want to call Purchases & Renewals 1-866-612-4268 Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM (MST) Sat-Sun 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (MST)  They should be able to help locate the problem and get it fixed for you!
