I have a Lenovo, and my webroot expired and I just renewed it and the money was taken out of my credit card and everything but it still has a red explanation point but it says protected when I check my status. I was just wondering if this is an issue, and I also purchased the original from Best Buy. Any help anyone could give would set my mind at ease. Thank you.

Hello ? and Welcome.
BestBuy renewal payments take a little time to get processed, usually overnight I believe, and you need not worry as it will be showing renewed, with subscription updated before long.
You are fully protected in the meantime, and if you have any questions or info please get back to us. Thanks.
Our BestBuy expert ? might have additional info on this.

Hello there! Thanks for the "@" Dermot!
I do have a quick question or two, and a couple of comments.
Did you use the renew, or did you make a new purchase. They ARE differenent and they WILL act differently. If you received a new key code, that will be a new purchase, the the new key code will need to be correctly activated.
If you did do a renewal, and the transaction has been completed on your credit card, then your software SHOULD be ready to use. It DOES happen once in a while that for some reason the software gets stuck in the mode of still needing to be renewed. It is kinda strange.
If yours was a renewal, please try the following:
Open WSA
Click the gear tool next to My Account
Re-enter your key code in the space provided
Click activate
SaveReboot the computer right away.
This usually will clear the problem. If this does not work, or your payment was for a new purchase (you received a NEW key code) let us know!
