Fri 12/18:(W7 Pro 64 w Webroot for 4 yrs) WRSA update request; "yes"; started scan; hung up; found 2nd copy Webroot on  desktop with different version; redownloaded code using different key;  I am reluctant to see if problem recurs as this is my primary machine.

Now 12/19: (on a W7 starter w Webroot for 4 yrs) WRSA update request; "yes"; scan said completed but statistics said not scanned for several days; now scan is hanging.

Who do I call on Sunday to spend many of my precious hours waiting then working on both systems?

And what protection is on when Action Center says "WRSA off"; "WRAV w Spy Sweeper is off" ?

Geez.

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue on both systems?

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
