The Internet Security Plus verses Internet Security complete.

What you state is correct...the main difference between Intgernet Security Plus & Complete versions is that the latter has the Backup & Sync feature whilst the former does not.
 
So if you need that feature you should loook to upgrade to Complete.
 
Having said that in terms of protection from malware both version offer exactly the same level of protection, as does the Anti Virus version...so in terms of keep you safe and keeping the nasties out you are well set with either of the versions.

Perhaps when you renewal comes up you might take a look at the Complete version and see what the cost of renewing and upgrading to it at the same time? ;)
