Trying to activate Webroot Password manager and followed the instructions to create account and everything seemed good.

Per instructions I was to click on the icon in my toolbar and enter my Webroot credentials,  but there is NO icon to click on?

Only icon i have for Webroot is in the system tray at the bottom of the screen.

Im using Palemoon browser which is basically Firefox optimized for windows.

Help anyone?
Hello Tomn,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm not sure but you might want to ty the toolbar fix Password Management Toolbar Fix Tool For PC:

http://download.webroot.com/toolbarfix.exe

This normally will work for FF. Not sure about Palemoon.

Please let us know how it goes and if you need more help!

Best Regards,
Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

WSA only supports Internet Explorer, Firefox & Chrome so the toolbar fix will do nothing for Palemoon sorry. Do you have the Web Filter Extension installed if not here is an Unofficial way of getting it installed on Palemoon: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/Unofficial-Webroot-filtering-extension-in-Palemoon-Unofficial/ta-p/142217

Thanks,

Ok i think I can handle the first part of your recommendation, however,

To update the extension: when a new version of the extension comes out (you will have to check the version number of the extension periodically, probably when WSA is updated, in order to know if you have to update it in Palemoon), remove the old version of the filtering extension from Palemoon, then just browse back to the same folder above, and use the exact same procedure to copy, pack, and install the updated extension files into Palemoon.

How will I know when a new version comes out to check the version number?

Seems like a lot of trouble to go thru each and everytime a new version of the extension comes out. Could I not allow an update to the new version and just keep using the old version?

The toolbar fix posted previously, does it work with standard Firefox.?

Well just remember that it's at 1.0.2.42 now I assume as I'm using a Beta version and then check the numbers once in a while then you would have to delete and do the same over again. And you should have no problem with the Supported Browsers and the Fix tool is there in case it's not installed and you have a problem.

HTH,

Daniel 😉
