Webroot Secure Anywhere is blocked from installeing on Windows 10 Technical Preview because of compatability issues!
Is there ever going to be a fix before Windows 10 is fully released?

@  It works fine for me on 2 VM's but some have issues installing but not all please look at this thread: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/windows-10/td-p/171117 and I had no issues on Win 8 Beta's either so don't say thing's that are not true. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/security/how-do-i-keep-windows-8-release-preview-secure/acd2bfea-ed36-401e-9050-f2fe4212ecf3?page=3

Thanks for nothing! Windows 10 is quite stable already and is already being used by a lot of people. Even when windows 8 came out of beta, it still took months for Webroot to provide a supported AV. You would think that they should be working on this compatability issue now. Webroot will no longer be found on any of my computers.

Yes, renaming the .exe to wsainstal(2) let me install it. It is running without issue on my windows 10-64 build 9926 system.
Funny, support didn't know or make mention of this!

Well most of them don't keep an eye on the Community and some users find an answer buy mistake so we all benefit as it does help other users like yourself to get it installed. It's great you got it installed and funny as I can't reproduce the issues you and others are having.

Cheers,

Daniel 😉

Sorry for necrothreading this - but in the "reserve your windows 10 upgrade" check that is rolling out to Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 right now which is for the _finished_ Windows 10 it still says "you need to uninstall this program". So feels like this forum is gonna get alot of people wondering what's up with this. Here's hoping for a new client soon that passes the compatiblity check.

Its been said a number of times but Windows 10 is not a finished product and we dont support unfinished OS's. When Windows 10 goes gold we will support it.
