my email was not working and they had to help me get it up and working. I was told by the person who was helping me to get rid of Webroot because this is what is causing all of my problems. Now what do I do. I have paid big money for Webroot protection and now I am told by my phone company that it is a bad idea to have this security. Help

Hi McW14
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Well, firstly sorry to hear about that problem. Secondly, I believe that you phone company is talking absolutely rot as there are huge numbers of WSA users that have no issue at all with their email when using WSA, although to be fair there have been cases of there being an issue but these have been extremely minor and always resolved as far as I know, without the need to not run WSA in the future.
Now may I check if yo are looking at emails via a client or program on your system such as WIndows Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc., or you generally use Web Mail to transact, i.e., you sign into the phone company website and view emails via a browser, as that will decide where the issue may lie?
If the former then it could well be a case of permissions and we can advise on where to check that in WSA. If the latter then it may be due to False Postive detection of the website that yo are accessing to view the emails...so please advise back on this so that we can advise going forward.
Awaiting your reply and to try to help further.
