Welcome to the Community Forums.
Yes, indeed you can and that shoudl consume the remaining device that you have from your 3 device subscription. But a better approach than using the original CD would be to download the latest installer (from here) to your laptop and use that instead.
Remember to make sure that you have your keycode to hand when you run the installer. ;)

Hi bassman_feb_64
I also notice that you are using the Internet Security Plus version of WSA (you have posted in this forum)?
I am not sure whether or not you use the Password Manager and whether you have noticed that if your Wife & Son use the same account then they effctively 'share' the Password Manager, i.e., they can see/access each others passwords?
Should you wish to avoid that going forward, i.e., your passwords on your laptop being only accessible by you then make sure that you set up a seperate account for you that is different to the one that your Wife & Son use.
On the premise that you may all want to use the Password Manager here is how to go about making sure that you each have your own accounts and so can have your own passwords held 'privately' from one another.
The passwords held are keyed by email address as well as keycode, and so if they change their account then you will need to ask Support to transfer their data from one account to the new one. Given they most likely already have an account I would just set yourself up a different one.
So if you want to do this:
If you have only one user profile set up, click the 'Create New Users' button. Each user profile is, just like yours, a specific email address. Create an additional user for your Father.
For his new user profile, once created, go to 'Permissions'. There you can allow him Console access, or block him from it. Also, you will need to set the permissions for Passwords.
Further, suggestion; that you do not provide Admin Console Access to anyone other than yourself, as that will give them access to make changes (perhaps more pertinent if you want to allow further users to make use of these features).
Well, I hope that the above is of use should you decide that you wish to avail yourself of it?
Please do not hesitate to come back here and let us know how you get on or if you have further questions.
