After a long wait (yes, we know!), we’re excited to announce the release of Carbonite Safe Client for Mac OS – Version 2.10.0 starting October 28th, 2025. This update brings significant improvements for our existing & new Safe customers.

OpenText Webroot <> ScreenConnect Integration
What is being released?
ConnectWise ScreenConnect is a remote access and support software that allows MSP/ MSSPs to connect to, manage, and troubleshoot endpoints remotely. This extension integrates our endpoint protection capabilities into remote ScreenConnect sessions, allowing technicians to deploy agents, view security status and run admin tasks without leaving the remote console. Key capabilities of this extension are –
- Configure OpenText Cybersecurity (Webroot) extension
- Remote installation/uninstallation of Windows agent
- Display current protection status
- Ability to run normal & deep endpoint scans

What is being released?
We are pleased to announce the release of the Webroot Secure Anywhere – Mac Business and Consumer Agents Version 9.7.5 starting on October 30th, 2025
Enhancements:
- Faster iCloud Scans on macOS
- Scans were slow when signed into iCloud—this is now fixed! Scans are quicker across all iCloud providers. More improvements for specific file types are coming soon.
- Suppress false suspicion activity alerts on macOS
- Suppressed false suspicious activity alerts harmless changes to launch agent/daemon plist files, making the experience smoother and reducing unnecessary warnings.
- Loading spinner added
