Why does it keep saying that my security settings won't allow me to download things that I are safe
I'm electronically challenged, and all of a sudden I can't download anything. It keeps telling me that my security settings won't allow it. And I KNOW the downloads are safe. (Like from the IRS???)

Could you please tell us more about this warning you are seeing. Is it a Microsoft warning?
Try:
-Open Internet Explorer.
-Go to Tools/Internet Options/Security/ Custom Level
-Scroll to "Launching applications and unsafe file"
-Select "Prompt".
-Click on OK to validate.
