Good Morning/afternoon Webrooters.
We have snow! not much thankfully.
It is not easy watching my wife push the wheelbarrow full of logs across the orchard especially with her bad back, talk about feeling guilty!

They were calling for snow last night. It never snowed. It's cold out side 35 degrees and tonight it will be in the teens. Tomorrow will also be another cold day, but after that look at our weather, NICE! 😎
Hang in there Jeff, your wife understands, but I know how you feel with her doing the work.
Hope every one enjoys today. I'll be leaving shortly, Colleen has to go to the doctor to get readings taken on her heart monitor, then we're going out to lunch.

Well we have snow now about 5 or 6 inches and it is still coming down.
It may be a pain being housebound at present but looking out of the window I have to say that I am glad I can stay in front of the fire.

Jeff I hope your leg is feeling better. We haven't seen snow this year in our neighborhood. Came close though because a few weeks ago it snowed in Williamsburg, Va. about 50 miles away. It will be in the mid to upper 60's this weekend. Stay warm, stay inside for the people in the Arctic weather.

Good morning Webrooters,

The sun is shinning and the temp is 50 degrees. But not for long, the rain will be moving in this afternoon. We are sink of rain down here. The ground is so saturated my back yard (garden for the one's on the other side of the pond, lol) is flooded out. Hopefully the end of next week will be better. Everyone enjoy the rest of the weekend. ☺️

A lovely day over here is Southern Britain but chilly in the breeze.
This is going to be my last week off work and although I get sick of going to work I will be glad to get moving despite being told by the consultant that it may take up to 2 years to get back full movement again.

Wet and windy here again.
About an hour before I will go for a walk, a daily thing now to try and get some strength back in my leg which is doing pretty well. A 10 to 15 walk to the pub with the wife and dog, while she continues I have a sit down, 1 drink and she picks me up on the way back - it is not all bad 😉.
I just wish everything was back to normal.

We have a warm up coming in a few days. I know it's a bummer Jeff, it takes a second to break something and forever to heal up. The older you get the more time it takes. Okay! Sunday it will be 7C or 44F but it has been cold here at night -15C or 5F......

It's 9 F here in Arcade..with wind chills of -3 or 0 wherever one is located. Had to run out and its awfully butter cold.

Aw Dave that's pretty cold there where you're at. The door keeps shutting and opening up North here. LOL brrrr

Take it easy Jeff...its a slow process healing and strengthening that injury that you have.

Knowing that I have to start work next Monday and be on my feet for pretty much all day I do not have too long to get a bit more strength in my leg, so instead of coming straight back from the pub at lunchtime I came the longer way which took twice as long (30 minutes instead of 15) and despite having a walking stick I am feeling it. I have to try though and keep pushing myself a little bit.

I agree, snow is wonderful stuff, but only if you do not have to out in it and can just look at its beauty from behind a window and a lovely log fire.
In the last few years I have gone off it quite a bit if you had not realised.

Cloudy day today, 55 degrees and no rain, that comes tomorrow with the temps in the mid 70's. We're going out here in a few minutes for a ride to North Carolina. Colleen want's to visit a few little shops in the small towns down there. It's nice visiting those Mom & Pop small stores. Everyone enjoy your weekend. 😉

I have been for a long walk today with the dog and Liz (about 1 1/2 miles) and tonight I am going for a walk to the pub to see my friends, I have been waiting for this for 6 weeks and cannot wait.
Hopefully I will be back to my normal walking in a few short months.

Today was sunny and about 40F in Arcade.

We went running around for a few hours. And I'm happy to be home to relax.

Hey PTD, I love those little shops. Hope you and Colleen had a nice drive. Weather sounds great out there.
