Nice day today in Virginia Beach. ☺️
We'll be out today visiting the sites here around the beach area. I can't handle this laptop, everything is so small and it's hard for me to see anything. Guess I'm spoiled using the 27 inch iMac with the high speed internet at home. ROFL. Everyone have a great day. 😉

Good morning Webrooters,

It's going to be another hot day today as it has been for the past 3 days. In the upper 90's with the heat index well over 100 degrees. Relief is on the way though starting tomorrow with some occasional rain for a few days, we need it. Very unusual for this hot weather so early in the year. Hurricane Season starts next month and with this hot weather the Atlantic Ocean is getting warm, favorable for hurricanes. All of us here on the shore line have our fingers crossed it won't be a busy season. Everyone enjoy your day today. ☺️

That is a lot hotter than what we have over here, it is going to be warm but not too bad, maybe into the 70's but dry now hopefully after yesterday.

It's nice to have a Good morning opener. We haven't done this in awhile. :)

Its been rainy here all week and it's only been in the high 60s-70s. This isn't the norm for this time of year. I cant tell you how many baseball games that I went to at my Grandsons that I froze to death.

We have been push mowing our few acres of land because it's been to wet for the rider many times. The rain is good for the veggie garden but that's all.

I hope @ProTruckDriver that those tornadoes stay clear of your way.

And @Jasper_The_Rasper I know it's hard on you working in the Gardens when its wet and rainy too.

Good morning / afternoon Webrooters.
It's a nice day today. Temps in the mid 80's. Well that's better than what we had for the last 4 days near 100. Going to have some rain that we need. Our grass is starting to turn brown from the sun and heat. I have to take Colleen to her appointment with the Cardiologist in about 10 minutes. I think I scared the hell out of her the other day while I was driving down the interstate. I wonder if that will show up on her heart monitor reading when they take the reading today? We'll find out. See ya all when we get back. ☺️

Friday is over now pretty much for us Sherry. It is manic here right though and 2 weeks on Sunday until this garden opens to the public when they will be coming around to see what I have been getting up to.

It's a Sad Day in Virginia Beach ☹️

As you have probably heard on your News Channel about the shooting in the Virginia Beach Municipal Center about 4:15 PM today. 11 dead and 6 injured. I would like to say in this crazy world we live in now you never know what will happen next. As I stated in the above post, Colleen had a Cardiologist Appointment today in Va Beach. We had to transit by the VA. Beach Municipal Center to get to her doctor. We went by the center coming home at 4 PM, just 15 minutes before the incident happen. I was wondering why I was seeing dozens of police cars racing with emergency lights on going in the opposite direction. We got home and turned on the news and we were shocked at what we were seeing. 😭

Well we needed the rain here in the South but it looks like rain for the next week. Oh my aching joints, they are hurting already. For all the youngsters out there, you will know what I talking about aching joints and rain when you get older. LOL. We had heavy rain last night so no cutting the grass today, my yard is flooded out. Hope everyone enjoys today. ☺️

It is a gloomy day so far but it is suppose to get better throughout the day. Nothing but rain for the past weeks. Baseball games cancelled in the Little Leagues...Push mowing has been a must just to keep up with our lawn. A few acres...mowing everyday spite the rain. But I haven't had to water the garden. But my Tomatoes need SUN!! The heat is a comin' though!

We are going to have a wet day tomorrow thankfully and about time. For the last month there has not been a week where I have not spent most of the weekdays cutting grass, every day this week and I am getting tired of the stuff. 1 more week to go and I can start to think about easing off a little bit.

We have had rain today, it gave me the chance to catch up with some inside jobs.

On the issue of health I will be really glad when leg/foot is back to normal, nearly 5 months now and it is still giving me hell. I need a holiday and chance to rest it.

Everything went well with the Podiatrist, trimmed 2 ingrown nails. I asked the Doc about ingrown toenail surgery and they will not do it because of the CLL and risk of infection. I had it done about 20 years ago on both big toes. The surgery is no biggie, the only thing that is painful is the needle in the toe to numb the toe. You will feel that Leg/Foot Jeff when the weather changes. The older you get, the more you feel it. I guess one of the beauties of getting old. 🙂

I cannot say I am looking forward to those problems but it is just something else to think about.

I wish our weather was warm and dry over here, it has been good for weeks and now when I need it the most it has gone downhill.
