We use AutoCAD and we cannot save .dfx files to our server. AutoCAD help recommends making an exception for .dfx files in Webroot. How?

Hi Warren
I think you might be able to create an override as follows:
- Go to the Overrides tab of your console
- Click on "Create"
- Give your Override a name
- Select the radio button for "Path/File"
- Put *.dfx in the File Mask
- If your design files are going to live in a particular area of your server, insert a path, using wildcards and the "Include subfolders" checkbox as required.
You can apply it to a particular policy, or not, as needed. I'd be inclined to leave "Detect if malicious" checked as yes, so any malware that disguises itself as a DXF file still gets picked up.
You may need to do a bit of trial and error with the use of wildcards, and be conservative (e.g. don't use a file mask of *.* and allow all file paths, or else you'll be telling Webroot not to check anything); you want to keep the antivirus powers of Webroot working ok, I assume.
Anyway, I hope that helps

Oh, and you'll noticed that file/folder overrides will only work if the Endpoints have version 9.0.1 or higher. If everything is up to date, it should still work - my Endpoints are all at 9.0.4.7 at the time of writing.
If you have Endpoints at earlier versions, and for some reason can't update them, this solution won't work. Sorry.
