Hi williamj
Welcome to the Community Forums.
May I enquire as to what exactly you are trying to do to get the scan 'to come up'?
There are generally 2 ways to scan your system; you can either click on the 'Scan my computer' button that is situated in the main app panel or you can loc ate the drive that you want to scan, in Windows Explorer, right click on the drive icon and select the 'Scan with Webroot' option that is displayed in the context menu.
Both options will initiate a manual scan.
This is on top of the scheduled scan that is automatically set up to scan each day at a predetermined time...which you can change/customise by clicking on 'Advanced Settings' > 'Scheduler' > 'Scan Schedule'.
I hope that helps?
