Hi janm1234
Welcome to the Community Forums.
This does happen quite often...so the best thing to try here is resetting the password.
To do that please follow the instructions below:
- Go to http://my.webrootanywhere.com
- If you can sign in without any trouble, go ahead and sign in, click your username at the top right side of the screen, go to
Account Settings, and click "Change" next to "Password."
- If you can't sign in to the online console at all, use the "can't log in" link to reset the password instead.
- Wait a few minutes and try signing in on the mobile device again with the new password.
Hopefully that will do the trick for you...but if not then please post back and we will look to provide further assistance.
Regards, Baldrick

When I downloaded from Google Apps, I went through the register stuff again and it has a different password than the console, so now what?
tHE mOBILE APP WAS DOWNLOADED THRU gOOGLE, AND i REGISTERED AS IT GAVE ME A NEW KEY CODE. i SET AN ACCESS PASSWORD, BUT DIDNT WRITE IT DOWN, SO CHNAGING THE CONSOLE DOES NOT AFFECT MY PHONE AT ALL. FEELING FRUSTRATED.
If you cannot rememer the password you previously set, and any changes in the Console will not affect the phone for the password, there is not, to my knowledge, anything we can do in the Community. You might consider submitting a Trouble Ticket. One item I did find that may apply is contained in this KB Article.
Hi janm1234
EDIT: I see that David got back before me...:D
Understand your frustrations but please DON'T SHOUT...it kills the mood...we are volunteers here who give of our time to try to assist other users...we are NOT Webroot employees...and can only try to do our best in the circumstances.
GIven that what has been suggested has not helped and you have forgotten your password I would recommend that you Open a Support Ticket and see if the Support Team can assist you in resolving this issue.
