How old is your Webroot? When you say old version,, is Webroot from last year? Is this Cd from Best Buy? Is your old version a Best Buy version or Webroot version that was purchased online?  Then yes you should uninstall. But if both products are from Best Buy then you can just add the keycode to the online Account Console.

 

Simply sign in to your online Account Console. 

 

 You can add new keycodes to your account as you purchase new SecureAnywhere products.



To add keycodes, you must have Admin permission.



To add a license keycode:

1. Open the SecureAnywhere website menu and click Manage Keycodes.
    
   
2. Click Add Product Keycode to open the keycode field:

3. Enter the product keycode and click Add.
   
   Note: your keycode is a string of 20 alphanumeric characters. It is unique and holds the information about your subscription. You may choose to copy and paste your keycode when prompted, to ensure that the characters are entered correctly.
