Here is how to get started in the PC User Guide and creating an online Account Console

The first user created for an account is the administrator for that account. The account administrator can create additional users and specify their access levels for each Webroot SecureAnywhere product that is licensed and associated with this account.
The administrator has access to the SecureAnywhere consoles, license keycodes, users, and account settings for the account.

By default, Webroot SecureAnywhere uses the settings that you configured in the program on your PC ("User Configuration"). If this setting has been changed to anything other than "User Configuration", then you will continue to receive the message shown above when altering settings in the program.
If you want to manage settings on your PC, and not from the management website, simply reset the option to "User Configuration".

Kind Regards,
The Webroot console is a place where you can log in to manage all the devices you have Webroot running on. It's handy if you manage another family member's computer, possibly in another location, and need to keep an eye on it. It's not required for your Webroot to function, but it's nice to have an online view from anywhere. Just go to my.webrootanywhere.com and sign up, then put in your keycode.
