how do I become a beta tester
Page 1 / 1
Hi slotrider
Welcoem to the Community Forums.
To be admitted to the beta testing group you need to PM Nic, our Community Manager, with a request. He will then decide whether to admit you or not.
May I recommend that you only beome a beta tester if you have a safe way of testing the software, i.e., either on a test system, a VM environment on your main system or if you have imaging and/or rollback functionality avaialble (NOT System Restore). Beta testing, as and when it goes wrong...and it can...could trash the system you are testing on (I know this from bitter experience) so caution is advised.
Hope that helps?

PM Nic how do i do that ?
Hi slotrider
Apologies...for not explaining more fully.
You click on the 'Messages' link in the top righthad corner of any page, next to 'Notifications' & your username/avatar. Once you are in the Inbox click on the tab headed 'Compose New Message', and in the new panel enter 'nic' (without the quote marks) in the 'Send to' box, a suitable description or title in the 'Message Subject' box, and then the text of your message in the 'Messsage Body' box...and when done just click 'Send message' in the bottom righthad corner of the page.
And that should do it.
