New to using and cannot seemt o get password manager to setup properly with IE
Hi cruiseguyfl

Welcome to the Community Forums.

This sometimes does happen and to try to resolve it you can try running the Toolbarfix tool.  You can download it for here.

Once downloaded launch it by clicking on the executable, and you should see the following, if then that is fine and you should click on 'Run':

which should then take you to the following dialog:

on which you should choose/check the option 'Repair/Install the Webroot Toolbar' and then press 'Start'.

That should initiate the fix process and you just have to wait for it to finish, close the dialog and then check in your browser to see if the Password Manager Toolbar icon is now visible.  If the fix has been successful you should see the following greyed out icon in a toolbar at the top of the IE browser page:

One then double clicks on that so that the login dialog is presented, etc.

Note: This will not work in Microsoft Edge. Webroot is currently awaiting that MS allow addons/extensions to be used with Edge. Please see HERE for a KB Article on the subject.

Please check the above out and come back if anything is not clear or if it does not help/respond to your query.

TY. I have some of it working now but still getting used to it. Be nice if it did not matter which browser being used (IE, Firefox, Chrome). But I'm still experiementing.
It should not matter which of IE, Firefox or Chrome you use...they are all supported. Not sure what you mean when you say "I have some of it working now"...it should either work or not work. I have never seen an inbetween case, so please elaborate as to what is not working.

Thanks, Baldrick
I have seen the icon in IE so can save a site, but, haven't spotted it in Chrome yet when I used that for something new. I always say to my agents that 99% of the time it is operator error and that includes myself. I'm learning

Well, try running the toolbarfix tool as previously suggested and if that does not work then post back and I can advise as to how to get the extension installed manually.
