I just  purchased Webroot SecureAnywhere - Complete. I downloaded the program and it keeps going to a scan screen and it appears  to show that it is expired.
Hello springs2564

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Please try this below:

This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/wsa_icon.png

If you have a new keycode, you can activate it as follows:

  1. Open SecureAnywhere.

  2. Click the gear icon next to My Account. Your account panel displays.

  3. Under Activate a new keycode, enter the keycode you want to add and click Activate.

Note: your keycode is a string of 20 alphanumeric characters. It is unique and holds the information about your subscription. You may choose to copy and paste your keycode when prompted, to ensure that the characters are entered correctly.

If you would like to also add your keycode to your online management account, click here for instructions.

Also you will need to Submit a Support Ticket to transfer your Password Manager and Back up & Sync to your new keycode.
Hi springs2564

Welcome to the Community Forums.

May I ask if you have effectively renewed an existing subscription or if you have renewed by purchasing a new subscription? The difference is that with the latter you get a new keycode which you would thne need to enter as described by Sherry, in the case of the former the time is just added to the existing keycode.

If you have indeed renewed and gotten a new key code then as a Complete user I need to advise you of something important in relation to the 'renewal'; if running the Complete version, and you enter a new keycode (but only if a new keycode is involved) then you must contact support/Submit a Support Ticket and ask them to move your Password Manager and Backup & Sync-related data from the old to the new keycode.  The reason for this is that the access to the data is keyed to the keycode and obviously if you change keycode yo will not be able to access data keyed under the old keycode when using the new keycode.  If you have to do this and run into any issues do come back here and we can see if Nic can sort things out (as he usually can ;)).

Hope that helps?

Regards, Baldrick
