Hello Barky53,
Welcome to the Community,
Click Start, and then click My Computer.
Right-click the icon for the CD or DVD drive for which you want to change the settings, and then click Properties.
Click the AutoPlay tab, and click a File Type.
Hope that helps, if not please come on back for more assistance,
Regards,

Hi barky53
Welcome tot the Community Forums.
This is most likely due to the Autorun setting in Windows being off for some reason so you have 2 options; either get on to the CD, navigate to the installer or download a copy of the installer from the internet (for Webroot purchase here or for Best Buy purchase from here) and then click on the download installer to install...from which ever source you chose they are one and the same.
EDIT: I see that Sherry has provided information as to how to re-enable the Autorun feature. I would caution that if it was off then it may have been for a very good reason and that before re-enabling it you check as to why it was in that state...especially if you are not the prime user of the system or have someone else 'support' it for you.
Hope that helps?
Regards, Baldrick

If I can step in a moment and put in my own $0.02:
Personally I think the time spent putting the CD in, trying to run it, ejecting it is not worth the time, especially when it isn't starting correctly. The softare will need to download the new executable anyway as a part of the install, so I would just skip the CD. The fresh download is under 1 MB anyway 🙂
