I have been a WSA user for awhile but have not used backup and sync.  How do i get files transfered to my Backup folder??

WEbroot closes a program I run.  I want to make WR not see this program when it's running.  How can I do that?

How do I change the personal product/serial number of a newly purchased webroot over an existing expired product?

Yesterday I renewed Webroot and was charged on my credit card.  Today I got a message that I am not connected because I did not enter the code.  When I tried to enter the code it seems like I have to renew again.  I don't want to be charged twice.  please advise. Gail Solt

I have WSA on a Win7 machine and it reported this morning an infection by w32.InfectLocal.2. I said to remove the threat. It is stting there and the progress bar is unchanged for about 20 minutes now. Will this ever complete?   Also, I have trouble understanding how this machine could have been infected. It is a virtual machine and I do nothing on it except some MS Access programming. It is connected to the internet and has many shared files with my OSX host, but I really do very little on it.

I keep getting a notice to save something called containertag.js. I haven't save it.I understand its adware.Howe do I stop the requests? I did a Webroot scan and it shows nothing on my machine. I also tried inchecking unwanted programs and rechecking it. Any solutions?

I disabled the Webroot extension in Google chrome because of Chrome's dire warning and now realize I need it and cannot get it back, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.   Many thanks.

Hi,   Can WSA scan the System Volume Information (SVI) directory on any had drive?  Should I start in Safe Mode and do the WSA scan or is that even possible in Safe Mode?  Should I simply delete the SVI directory and have Windows re-create it on the next bootup or is this a disaster going that route?   Chris

Is there any reason NOT to delete all the [unused?] clutter in AppDataLocalTemplptemplanguages? Anybody's Windoze system contains a colossal amount of fluff that takes up space and slows down backups.  Much of it is [unused, usually] language stuff, and tight coders like to get rid of such clutter.  In the case of LastPass, can it be safely removed (assuming Windoze itself doesn't make it impossible)?

Good Morning, Kindly assist with this challenge. An unknow internet dude installed webroot into my window 7 PC without my permission, how he did it i have not found out. But the challenge is that he taps into and control everything i do on my PC. This is illegal. I have search severally her feautures are hidden but the logo appears on my task bar, when i take the cusor close to it it displays " Webroot SecureAnywhere Endpoint Protection v9.0.13.75 - Protected". When I try to login I get message my password or username is incorrect.  I have set up my self as the admin user under my email and passsword and set to access the Backup and sych but I cant get in

I believe my computer is infected with malware. Once or twice a day on a news website a window opens a the bottom of the  page. How do I remove it? I tried saving it and then immediately delete it but, it continues keeps to re-appear , 

Does anyone know when wsa extension will be available on the microsoft edge browser? I would like to be able to use my automatic sign ons like I can with google chrome.

Webroot Secure Anywhere v9.0.2.21, Windows 8.1, Chrome browser v45.x How do I disable the Webroot Filtering Extension in Chrome?   This is what it says ... and I cannot uncheck the Enabled box.    

It used to work all the time but now all I get are gray dots. I tryed a few diffrent things but I can not get it to work properly.   Any sujestions ?

Experts, looks like today update for MAC clients kills Chrome browser complaining there is no valid extension for webroot making a loop since MAC users are not allowed to install anything. Is there any way to fix that behaviour? Thank You      

Hello,   We have 1000 clients with a Webroot Filter extension in their browser this AM, trying to understand the ramifications.   How do we whitelist a blocked site? Are blocked sites logged in my.webrootanywere control panel or only on the endpoint like Identity Shield? Does this filter provide any additional protection against downloads, either drive by or user initiated, or this is just a website rating system?Thank you.
