Hi FlowerPower9795
Welcome to the Community Forums.
May I ask if you have by any chance downloaded and installed a new piece of software very recently, i.e., just before the banner ads started appearing? Als, do they just appear when web browsing or at other times?
Answers to the above will help us in seeing if we can assist you in resolving the issue.

Banner Ads started appearing several weeks ago on a few user forums. Registered members are not supposed to see them but it has been happening. I had to install Ghostery to get rid of them. Appear to be Google AdSense!
Now that is very interesting, and yes...I do remember this being mentioned. Having said that I do use both Ghostyery & uBlock on all Chrome-based browsers I use and I have not been troubled.
FlowerPower9795, which browser or browsers do you use? If Chrome then get the Ghostery & uBlock extensions to deal with the ads...if running Firefox then I think that you can get Ghostery for that too...but not uBlock, so as a replacement I would recommend AdBlock Plus...which a few of the memebers use.

Hello FlowerPower9795,
Welcome to the Community Forum,
If I may interject here, Please look at this below,
As most surfers do not like banner ads, some web brewers take the opportunity to offer options to disable pop-ups or block images from selected websites. Followings are specific ways to block banner ads in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Turn on Pop-up Blocker in Internet Explorer
1. Open your Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to top menu and select Tools. On the drop-down list, please click on Internet Options.
3. Switch to Privacy tab on the Internet Options window.
4. Tick the “Turn on Pop-up Blocker” to prevent a particular unwanted website from appearing on your browser.

If you want to allow banner ads on specific website, please click on the "Settings" button to exclude a website.
For Firefox please go here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker-settings-exceptions-troubleshooting#w_pop-up-blocker-settings
For Chrome :
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click on the Wrench icon to top-right corner of the browser and on the drop-down list, please select Settings to display present configuration of Google Chrome.
3. Scroll downloads and locate the Privacy area and click on Content settings button. It will open a new window.
4. Go to the Pop-ups area and tick on “Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended)”.

To allow pop-ups from certain web sites, click on Manage exceptions and add the website address.
Use web browser extensions or add-ons to block banners
Also to help with these issues it's best to install an Ad Blocker for your Browsers:
For Firefox µBlock: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/download/0.8.7.0-dev.1/uBlock.firefox.xpi
For Firefox Adblock Edge: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-edge/?src=ss
For Chrome µBlock : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/%C2%B5block/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?utm_source=ch...
For Internet Explorer Del Ad 15 day trial: http://www.delad.com/en/
So I would suggest to use one of the other Browsers as the Ad Blockers are free.
Hope this helps ,
Kind Regards,
