I have a question about cookies whiel running SA.

 

I installed SA on a clean install of Win7 64 bit and it seems to me that it is deleting my cookies every time I close my browser.  None of my logins are remembered (i.e. I have to login to every site every time I visit).

 

I am trying to narrow down what might be causing this issue.  Is this a design feature of SA?

WSA does not automatically delete cookies except by use of the System Optimizer.  You might check your Optimizer settings and schedule to see if it might be running at shut down or at boot time?

 


  • Open WSA
  • Click Advanced Settings at the upper right
  • Click Scheduler on the left side
  • Click the System Optimizer tab
  • Review the settings.  Check to see if it is set to run on a schedule, and also at the bottom to see if the option to run at boot is checked.
 

Please let me know if this helps... the problem could be somewhere else as well.

Also you may check your browser and if you are using IE then,

 

Block or allow cookies based on their type.

  • Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
  • Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
  • Click the Privacy tab, move the slider to the level of privacy that you want to set, and then click OK.
