Hello forum,

In early February 2016 my Webroot Internet Security Plus software interface got a funky color and informed me that my yearly subscription would be expiring in March. I then renewed my subscription online at Webroot for another year. My Webroot software interface then returned to the original color and all was well.  I assumed Webroot had updated my subscription key.

Yesterday it went a funky color again and says my subscription will expire on March 10!

What happened to the yearly renewal I purchased in mid-February?

Thanks for all help rendered,

billyboy1
Hello billyboy1,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Have you tried adding your new keycode to your Online Account Console?

To add keycodes, you must have Admin permission.

To add a license keycode:

  1. Open the SecureAnywhere website menu and click Manage Keycodes.

  2. Click Add Product Keycode to open the keycode field:

  3. Enter the product keycode and click Add.
Also if you recieved a new keycode in your renewal you might need to Submit a Support Ticket to have your Passwords transferred to your new keycode.

Let us know if this resolves your issue?

Hi billyboy1

Welcome to the Community Forums.

May I offer another approach that may assist shoud what Sherry has suggested not resolve the issue for you.

You should try re-entering & re-activating your keycode again, as follows:

and then:

Give this a try and see if that works for you, and if not then open the support ticket recommended by Sherry.

Balderick,

That seemed to work!

Webroot should better explain what to do after you renew your keycode online.  It is not intuitive. I just assumed Webroot would activate and update etc. automatically after I paid to renew the yearly subscription.

My Webroot interface is now back to its normal green color :)

That you kindly,

billyboy1
Hi billyboy1

You are most welcome! Thanks for the update, and glad that you are sorted.

I have to say that normally, if one renews vai Webroot, i.e., time being added to your existing keycode, then you should normally not have to do what I suggested/you  have done...it should all happen automatically. It has with all my renewals but we do know that in some cases this does not happen.

In fact I believe that the latest version of WSA that is currently in beta testing there is a fix to resolve an issue with the calculation of remaining subscription time experienced with some keycodes...so perhaps, when that is finally release into the GA (General Availability) product it will sort the issue you have experienced?  But who knows? ;)

Main thing is that you are sorted so if there is any further help required either post back here or if it relates to something differnt then start a new thread.

Regards, Baldrick
