Webroot® Unity API

Hi,We are trying to generate an access token for one of our clients using their username and password through the https://unityapi.webrootcloudav.com/auth/token endpoint. However, if the password contains an & symbol, we always receive the error message "Username or password is invalid”.When testing with other accounts and passwords (not containing an & character), things work fine. We double checked and we are sending the password field (as any other field) properly URL encoded. My only guess is that the receiving API server is not decoding these values correctly.Would you be able to confirm this a problem on your end or is there something we need to check again?Thanks for any help.Best regards,Steven

I have 2 GSM Console Admins (Super Admins), 1 Site-Admin, and 2 Sites. The 1 Site admin has administrator access to both sites. I want to use the API to update their access to either No Access or View Only. When I use the endpoint “/service/api/console/gsm/{gsmKey}/sites/{siteId}/admins” (with the relevant info filled in), it’ll return a 204 but nothing updates for the Site Admin, their access stays the same.If I attempt to provision either of the GSM Console Admins using the same endpoint and changing their access level to any of the 3 levels available, it’ll work. I am trying to suspend/deactivate sites and keep getting a scope error.I have tried scopes like:Console.GSMConsole.**But I continue to get scope errors for these endpoints. Hi wondering if there are any testing API keys available, rather than using live site and live API secret keys etc

I am trying to learn how WUR works,The report runs and returns a ‘Success’ status,If I click the ‘Open’ link, it opens this folderC:\Users\fname.lname\OneDrive - MyOrganization Name Services Ltd\Documents\Webroot Reporting\Runs\20210524T0324515876892Z\Outputwhere I can see a Result.json file.   But it seems that webroot is not creating the associated excel workbook. When I look at the WebrootReporting.Log it has the following entry.24/05/2021 12:45:35 PM ResultReadingService: LoadPreviousGeneratedResults failed. Reason: C:\Users\fname.lname\OneDrive - MyOrganization Name Services Ltd\Documents\Webroot Reporting\Runs folder does not exist! The path is exactly the same in both cases. Any idea what is going on here?

HelloI want GET a liste of EndPoints not seen since x days in GsmQuery /service/api/status/gsm/{gsmKey}&returnedInfo=BasicInfo,OSAndVersions  for all EndPoints (1400 active and many inactive) always failed before the end.Query /service/api/console/gsm/{gsmKey}/sites/{siteId}/endpoints$sSiteID for each site (280 actives) takes a very long time.Or is there a way to GET all EndPoints without error ?Thanks 

Hello,I would like to obtain sites’ information such as endpoints per site, to facilitate our administration (accounting, invoicing system) work. To do so, I have downloaded Webroot Universal Reporter. Still, I have been confronted to the same problem: we cannot create one document with little information like that (one row, with 2 or a little more columns), that contains many sites/customers. Getting a log of information, may be nice in some situation, but when we need only few informations relevant for the administrative part of the company, it is almost impossible. My question is: Do you know about that? Is it something you are working on? Or it is not on your to-do-list and it is not one of your priority since your goal is to support only the technical and not the backgroung? Best regards,Majda

Previously, I’d call in and request the Endpoint Summary Report for all sites. This would allow support to provide me with a report showing a complete list of all endpoints (deactivated or not) and the full details of all of these endpoints, and the sites they are associated with. Going forward, they are no longer able to provide this report and it is not a default template within the Universal Report Tool. I am looking for anyone who is able to provide me with a report template that provides the above listed information. If possible, also to have this listed all within one excel sheet. An example of the columns found in this report is as follows:SiteName UnitEx hostname groupname firstseen lastseen agentversion licensekey devicemid instancemid vm agentlanguage policyname lastinfected internalip

In Webroot universal reporter we need a custom report listing the endpoints in the created folders under the site? Can this be done??  Has anyone done this? We as an MSP can't created sites for every customer however we create a folder with the endpoints. This is done by multiple MSP's in the netherlands so if there is a solution please let me know.

As it says in the title…I’m building a generic-use PowerShell wrapper for the Unity API, and I’d like to not have the user have to go look up their GSM code manually. Is there a way to query the API to retrieve the GSM code that is associated with the API Client credentials or with the User?

Hi, I hope everyone is doing well.. Ive got an issue with the refresh token as it expires in 5 mins instead of 14 days. As per this guide it should expire in 14 days: https://unityapi.webrootcloudav.com/Docs/en/APIDoc/Guide#guide-authentication-accessAndRefreshTokens Here is what im doing to test this: 1) get Access Token with: header contains = `Authorization: basic *****` body contains = username, password, grant_type='password', scope 2) get refresh token with: header contains = `Authorization: basic *****` body contains = refresh token (from step 1) grant_type='refresh_token', scope and before you ask: im passing same scope! So did I miss anything? or did anything wrong? Please help.. Thanks in advance for your help :)

This JSON result from GET /service/api/console/gsm/{gsmKey}/sites/{siteId}/dnsp/trafficbycategory contains a data that says ActionTaken. Is there a list of what these actions are? or this is something internal?

Hi,When creating a new site in GSM and setting up Endpoint Protection we can set a value called 'Site Seats'. Obviously, here we always set the number of seats the customer ordered from us.Normally, we do not examine the WSA GSM console every day as it is not a system we shall pay 24/7 attention to (sitting and watching the console like airplane radars) unless any customer may encounter any malware issue and asks for our support.Now, we notice from time to time that some of our customers licence usage exceeds the preset Site Seat limit, but we never get any notification at all! The only chance to notice such an unexpected extra licence usage is if you open the console and THOROUGHLY overview ALL customers data by hand!The fiscal (billing) problem is that our customers pay 1 year in advancefor a requested number of seats and we cannot invoice them for the extra usage during the 1 year prepaid period, still we must pay for the extra usage to

Hi Loving the Universal Reporter, it’s so much cleaner that the other reports. But….I have a site where I deactivated an endpoint in December 2019 and it is showing on the reports as Unmanaged and has been added to each Endpoint Extended Data graph. How do I remove this from all future reports?
