I finally got a picture from the MVP Open Day from May 24th, 2013 at Microsoft Head Office in Toronto, Canada. We got allot of new info on many fronts from Software and Hardware but my MVP NDA does not allow me to discuss anything to my Fellow Webrooters but it was a great day 8:00am to 5:00pm and there were over 100 of us and 60 via Web Hookup then after they took 40 of us the ones that wanted to go to a Toronto Blue Jays game in an Executive Suite we had a great time and I got home around 1:00am. :D   Daniel   If you look close enough I'm wearing my Webroot Expert Advisor Polo Shirt! ;)

What an exciting E3 2013, no? I am a newcomer to Webroot SecureAnywhere and after using quite a few different security programs over the years and not too keen about using the "cloud" I can honestly say that I am very impressed with the program so far. My father's laptop was recently infected, forcing me to do a factory restore. In considering how to enhance his security posture, I decided to move off of MSSE and towards a 3rd party AV solution.   I was not expecting much, but after considering ESET, Norton, AVG, Avast, Avira, BitDefender, and ZAIC, I went with WRAV based upon the consistently good reviews. I must say that I am now even more impressed having surveyed these forums. In less than a day, I've learned a great deal about just how extensive of an overall AM product WRAV is. I had also purchased ZA Pro and MBAM the same day I chose WRAV, determining to proceed with a layered approach. Now I'm becoming more convinced that WRAV might be all I need.   Additionally, the assistance on these forums is remarkably good. Even if WRAV was less than stellar, the quality of help on these forums make the product worth the price. Tech experts have accused Apple's new software of being designed more for its critics than its army of loyal fans. Just installed Webroot. Checked PC Security on my online account. My settings for Webroot Secure Anywhere are "user defined" although I didnt change anything, just installed it. When I click on the help icon on this page, a number of security settings are listed. The "Medium(recommended)" setting is highlighted in blue. Should I change my security settings to this, and if so, what will it do as regards the program? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

As some of you know, E3 2013 is upon us. And while this year's Xbox One and PS4 announcements did give users a glimpse into the next-gen consoles, they were mostly focused on the social and all-purpose capabilities of the new machines. At E3, on the other hand, it's all been about the games (so far).   Microsoft was up first with it's announcement of sequels and Xbox One exclusives (as well as non-exclusives). Among the sequels, there was the impressive looking Forza follow-up, Forza Motorsport 5, which should put a smile on the faces of both car-lovers and racing fanatics. Perhaps (actually without a doubt), the more exciting sequel news for the majority of gamers will be the much-anticipated Halo 5.
