I have 3 current threats and shield won't let me fix, remove or rescan the threats

Hello everyone! I'm not sure if this an appropriate question to bring to this forum. I have a Java Script error that appears each time I turn on my computer. It began when uninstalled Discord from my laptop. I was having trouble with it & wanted to reinstall it. I haven't been able to reinstall since & now I get this script error. My kid changed the login password of my family computer and he didn't remember it now. When I touch the upper right verticle 3-dots to bring down the menu, to go into settings, or even bookmark a page... the menu is all black? Can't see it. Why aren't the words lit up??? Help please? I'm trying to do another one but think I'm gonna have to abandon it too as I just might run out of CD's again!
