Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Internet Security Plus

I have noticed after updating WSA by downloading Version 8.0.1.143 over Version .95 that my WOT (Web of Trust) rating symbols next to the links when searching with IE 8 were missing. After looking at the "Protected Applications" in WSA the setting has changed from "Allow" to "Deny". I changed the setting back to "Allow" and the rating symbols appear. This was the only setting that changed. Is there a reason for this being the only setting changing after updating?

As there is a new update, I have been going around to my various machines in order to update them to the latest version.  None of them are set to update automatically, which gives me a chance to evaluate a new versions stability prior to subjecting my 10 workstations to it.   On two of them, it shows the update as being available but gives me an error when trying to download it.  Something like “Webroot Cannot Be Updated At This Time”.  I don’t know if it’s a server thing or if it’s on my end and wonder if anyone is experiencing this.   Also interesting is that I downloaded the update and tried to install it on top of the current version and it would not install that way, making me believe the update is trying to contact something on the cloud and cannot.

When I install new trusted software OR update existing software, is there a way that I can pause WebRoot to make sure it doesn't interfere with the installation/upgrade process? I don't think shutting it down is a good solution. The software should have a "allow trusted software to install/update" button to insure that the software is installed/updated correctly.   Please advise.... Thanks!
