My Email address is called "unknown".

I will notice that the Webroot logo, to the right of the URL address space is grayed out, apparently not running. When I click on it a logon box drops down, and I enter my user name and password. The logo then turns green, seeming to me to mean that the program now is running. But as soon as that logo turns green, a red bar appears across the screen directly under the top bar that tells me that my email address is unknown. To the far right of that red bar there's a small box that says "Try again." I do that and the entire process is repeated again and again. I am 100% confident that my address and password both are correct. I even have an email from Webroot that confirms that. I am running the Chrome browser on an iMac. So is Webroot actually running during all of this, or is it stopped? And how do I get it to stop telling me that my email address is unknown? I've been using Webroot for a couple of weeks, and this is the first problem I've faced. By the way, tech support is not espceci

error code when registering on a reset phone

Hello, I clean my phone often, factory resets and such and I have recently received a code reading that I have eceeeded the number if attempts or consoles? I did not know I could do such a thing with webroot. I have read some of the forums and it seems that I can ask you guys to clear these old consoles, is that correct? If so, I'd like to do that as soon as possible so I can use your product once again. Thanks for the time.. Anthony

Is there anybody out there that can give me a step by step uninstall procedure for this webroot

Purchased a new computer a few weeks ago from Best Buy and was talked into getting a year service contract with the Geek boys and along with it bought the Webroot software in a package. Now I can't uninstall this webroot. No matter what I try or where on the internet I go for help, no help at all. Want to go to a different internet security, but need to uninstall Webroot first. Thanks in advance for any help here. Do need a step by step instruction for Windows 8.1 machine. tks again, Ken

when I try to register my my subscription, I cannot confirm, I get an error code

For some reason i am unable to register in reply to the e-mail. I get an eror code no matter what. This is from my desk top.

Why Does Webroot Not Notify W8/8.1 Users that WSA Firewall Controls are UnavailableDisabled?

Hello,   Why does Webroot not notify W8/8.1 users - either prior to or during WSA installation - that the firewall controls are unavailabledisabled ?   Afterall, am I not being charged for those features ?   Now, I know that Windows firewall controls are not disabled - but the WSA firewall AllowBlock radio buttons, plus the alert rulespolicies are missing.   I'm not interested in the technical details - only in an explanation why purchasers are not notified about this fact prior to purchase.   Thanks,   hjlbx

Possible false positive?

I am registering for an online safe driver course, which is approved by my state's DMV. Webroot blocked it as an unsafe phishing threat.  I contacted the site and received an email that said this has never been reported by any other users and that it might be a false positive by my antivirus company.  How can I find out more about this?

Why does my account say my subscription has expired if I just paid for a renewal?

I want to expand my protection services but get caught up in a loop of no help.  My account also is shown as expired when I had just renewed my acct. 5 minutes prior.  Can some one give me some advice?

safe sites and kindle fire

I do not see the green check marks that help to identify safe sites while browsing using google and bing. I still have been unable to download onto my kindle fire. Thanks!
