Two days ago, Webroot posted a press release that highlights our recently conducted research about the state of Web security in businesses throughout the US and the UK. This particular study focused only on companies that either currently have a Web security solution in place or are planning to roll one out this year. The findings exposed some profound statistics in regards to companies with remote users.   Below are some of the key statistics from the study:   Nearly 50% of companies with remote users reported that Web-borne attacks compromised security of customer data, which had a negative impact on company financials. 64% of companies allow remote access to servers for 25% to 100% of employees. 90% of companies agree that managing the security of remote users is extremely challenging 71% of Web security professionals who say managing remote users is highly challenging experienced Web-born phish

It also surfs Web sites like a champ and has a battery that goes the distance. Of course, the BlackBerry ecosystem lacks a wide app selection, but the Q10's hybrid approach should satisfy traditional BlackBerry addicts who crave a practical upgrade. The Telepathy One is no Google Glass. And supposedly, it's not trying to be. Demonstrated at an event in New York City, the Telepathy One is a wearable headset developed in Japan, intended on being part of the very same emerging industry as Google Glass. It has a built-in camera and floating microdisplay, much like Google Glass and the Vuzix M100 Smartglasses. Nintendo started the age of 'next-gen' gaming consoles when it released its Wii U back in November 2012. While it was the first Nintendo console to support high-def graphics, calling it 'next-gen' is somewhat misleading considering the fact that spec-wise, it just barely outperforms the current Xbox 360 and PS3. Webroot SecureAnywhere Web Security Service Maintenance     Beginning at 8PM MDT tonight (4/24/2013), the Web Security Service Management Portal will be unavailable for approximately one hour to accomodate maintenance necessary for the 4.3.1 update.   Configuration changes and access to logging and reporting will not be possible while this maintenance is conducted, however web filtering protection will continue to function without interruption. All user activity during the maintenance window will be logged and accessible once the Management Portal is back online.    

My computer has been invaded..Taken over!   When I try to save changes, such as not allowing 'non-administrators' permission to modify configuration options etc.. When I go to save, I get this WONDERFUL message stating "Although your settings will be saved locally, your PC is currently centrally managed by the Web Console and your settings may be overwritten on the next database communication."   Hey! This is NOT me! And I do NOT know what to do here as I have tried so many things and am COMPLETELY LOST!   Anyone out there willing to give Abby the 411 on this so I can be done with this nasty hacker??

Hello All!  I just purchased a 3-pc license for WSA Antivirus yesterday.  I will be running it on a 64-bit Windows 8 laptop, a 64-bit Vista desktop, and a 32-bit Vista laptop.  I have a question about what antivirus/internet security software runs the smoothest alongside WSA.  I know that it can run just fine by itself, and I may do that eventually.  But for peace of mind, I want to run it with something else for a while.  I trialed it with Comodo Internet Security 6.0 a few weeks ago, but I received a BSOD every time I tried to open Comodo's Virtual Kiosk.  Apparently, not compatible yet.  I also run Malwarebytes Pro in realtime, and use Sandboxie.  So what other programs do you all recommend from your experience that work well with WSA?

A "poorer" brother of Ferrari, Maserati marque unveiled their new gun against Mercedes Benz E-class and BMW 5-series. Look at the pictures, it's a typical Italian design. No sharp edges, fluently flowing design which is highly aerodynamically effective, coupled with the strong engines under the hood and with the latest technologic innovations, it seems the car to beat. I am afraid MB and BMW will not have a quiet sleep. Serves them right!!! :p

[For all of the flexibility and customization that comes with an Android device, there are still plenty of restrictions in place. While Android technically is an open-source platform, the final product is still the result of a phone-maker's skin, the carrier or manufacturer's preloaded software, or even sometimes, a few disabled features. There isn't anything wrong with most out-of-the-box experiences, but more daring and tech-savvy users who tire of being at the mercy and discretion of carriers and handset makers might be interested in pushing their Android devices to new limits. Hello, my name is Matthew and I am a student from South Shields in the UK. I am currently studying my second year of A-Levels at college, and I hope to be studying Computer Science and Ethical Hacking at university next year. I have tried out many security products out in the past, and I see myself as quite an advanced user. Unfortunately I do use Windows 8 on a daily basis (it's not that bad really 😉 ).
