Good Morning Baldrick.
It is a pretty good site if you just want to relax BUT I keep forgetting about it.

Hi Jasper, well, once I have finished the chores both inside and out and have dinner sorted for tonight I might look to grab me some liquid refreshment, settle down and give it a whirl.

Cheers, Baldrick

That sounds like a great plan. I wish I could do the same but we are going out later to look at a dog near Oxford which Liz is interested in to replace Bella which will be leaving us shortly to live with my daughter.

Well, perhaps you could 'join me' once you have been out and come back from your 'dog spotting' mission? :D

Hi ?,

I like pretty much all music but here are just a few that I listen to: Eagles, Toto, & Journey.  There are others but I alway seem to get back to these.

My son brought this to my attention, and you may find it hard to believe; but I'm listening to contemporary songs as gregorian chants. (see link below)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5PQ3PQ8LCM

Apart from this one there are covers of:-

Sweet child of mine
Voyage voyage
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
The sound of silence

and quite a few others.

it may seem strange, but it works

That is really cool!  Thank you for sharing it.

Now it is just a shame though that not even Chant can help Kanye West  :P

Thanks - but what makes you think I like rock? I don't recal saying so :p

By the way - I do like heavy music:

Metallica - Sad But True - 1991
I blew up my dad's speakers with Metallica - Master of puppets when i was 13 or 14 years old....

Right now i'm listening to the 2008 concert recording from ZZ - Top in Texas.

But i'm also into oldies music so i love this one too ( grin grin someone here may find it funny :D )
Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons

I'm a bit into Rock at the moment and more specifically covers from classics...

The younger generation might not remember who Joan Jett is but she 's made a few nice covers from oldtimers
( Have you ever seen the rain? - CCR / Love Hurts - Nazareth & Crimson and Clover - Tommy James & the Shondells ).
Especially the last one's my favourite in the series mentioned above.

Joan Jett - Crimson and clover

The Original love hurts was by Roy Orbison I think, but I loved the Nazaretn version.

Other Nazereth tracks I can recommend are :-
 My white bicycle
This flight tonight
Broken down angel and
Gone dead train

For classics as rock try the Love sculpture version os Sabre dance

Didn't know it came from the golden voice of Roy Orbison but i rarely listen to him these days ( got an OD of Roy Orbison when i was youngr so had enough for a few more years 😛 ) I'll deffinitely dig into those other Nazareth numbers later.
