is there something i am missing(another way to see the files) or am i correct in my frusteration? in webroots quarantine folder, the names and paths of the files are cut short and there's no way to expand the section or size of the window in order to be able to see their full path easily. looks like users must copy and paste the entries one by one in another place where they can be viewed. this wastes a lot of time when i want to go back and restore certain programs/files marked for quarantine. instead of being able to see them all and mark them for restoration simply by scrolling and clicking, i must right-click copy, then paste them one by one to see the full path so i can decide, then go back an click on the ones i want to keep. it turns something that should take less than 30 seconds into a 5-10 minute job or longer depending on how many files are associated with the blocked program. it seems ridiculous, so i feel like there must be another way that isn't clear to me at this time.

 Topic says it all.   I've got about $50,000 in software here that I can't update because your AV software blocks it.   This started about 2 or 3 weeks ago, maybe a little more.   It's also deleting the plugins that I have for Autodesk Inventor.   Now, if I could get the IT people to let me turn it off temporarily, that'd solve the problem with the software updates ... but it wouldn't help with stopping your software from killing off my plugins.   This is a pretty massive fail, Webroot.  Are you guys partnered up with the makers of Solidworks or something?

I have recently taken over management of a few PC's from a previous service provider.  Apparently they had a Webroot SecureAnywhere account and installed it on all of these machines.  We no longer have access to that account or those licenses but we're unable to uninstall/remove Webroot.   I've followed every guide I can find and NOTHING will uninstall it.  Even when it said it's successfully removed, after a reboot it's all back and running again.  When I try WRSA.exe -uninstall, I get "SecureAnywhere is currently managed by the Web Console and all changes need to be applied centrally" ... of course I don't have access to the Web Console.   How do I just remove the software... that's all I want to do.  The WRUpgradeTool said it successfully uninstalled everything, but of course, it did not.   Thanks!

Hi,   I am considering buying Webroot, however although I feel the antivirus protection seems to be very good, I feel the anti-phishing, and url malware protections seem to be a bit weaker (as per PcMag review). Also, does Webroot protect the user from network exploits ? PcMag article says the product does not help to protect against network exploits.

Hello,   I am unable to remember which password I set within the WR application's "Access control" feature. This is the password set locally on the system to prevent settings from being changed. I am able to access my web console, as well as the email account it is registered to. If needed, I can also provide my key (and even when/where I purchased the software).   I appreciate any help you are able to give me, as I do not want to reinstall my Windows OS. To be clear, this is 110% my fault. The software is performing exactly as it should, not even allowing me to uninstall (so I can perform a clean installation) without the password. Hello Everyone.   I have a new computer with SSD Drive, and also few 2TB Regular hard Drives. I was told that using the System Optimizer, works like the Old Window Washer, it Bleaches, therefore, It can be Harmful to the SSD Drives, I have set up my computer, so Technically, only the applications are in my C The SSD Drives, and all my files are in the Regular 2TB Hard Drives, even if I add a file to my Desktop, it is not my SSD Drive. I have purchased the product but the product Shields are off. When clicking fix it, it takes me to the accessibility area of Android however secure anywhere is already enabled. I tried disabling and reenabling but it has no effect.

I have an application that updates my QuickBooks account.  The auto update will not work if the firewall is on.  I have to turn off the firewall, update the app and turn the firewall back on.  Can I change a setting on Webroot so that I don't need to do this?

My webroot products are purchased through Best Buy. I bought another PC from them last year. They sold me another webroot even though I had a license for three PCs and was using only 2. When the new webroot was close to expiration the usual RENEW NOW box started appearing. I had Best Buy switch that PC to the license for three. All is well, The new PC webroot si showing 360+ days left and is protecting my PC. The problem is that the RENEW NOW message keeps appearing at startup. I have seen messages, going back over a year, on the web complaining obout this RENEW message not going away. I am pretty good at following fix instructions and, also, I am not in the mood to let Best Buy remote into my PC. Please provide me with a fix for this.   Bob Miller
