I installed  Webroot Antivirus today because something came on my speaker saying you have a virus don't shut down your computer down . Call Microsoft at some # . Scanned my computer & shows no threats ??

I have Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus which allows protection on 3 devices.  Beside laptop, I added iPhone and iPad by downloading the Webroot Secure Browser App, opening a Webroot account and logging in. I thought the additional devices would show up in my account, but has not.  Is there something else I should be doing?   Thanks

Help my mother has webroot but got a virus scam! She paid them $700.00 and they accessed her computer! How can she fix this issue. Thanks

One of our Pc's hard drives crashed. We replaced it with one from and old pc.  Then had to install a new windows 7 os.  The crashed hard drive had Webroot on it.  The old one we put in didn't.  We had bought webroot for 5 pc's and used it on all 5 pc's. So can I reinstall it on the pc that crashed, cause its good to go. I hope that makes sense. Thanks

just upgrade pc to windows 10 :( now webroot does NOT recognize that the account is active and up to date. Now I am on hold waiting to see what the problem is.  Technical support hold.  also, tried to reload the product and it does not recognize the license.  What's the problem????

Greetings to all those wiser than myself. I checked Firefox for any updates and it appeared that 'Shockwave Flash " should be updated as of yesterday. I tried to update it but was immediately warned by Webroot that it was not safe. I decided against the update. I recall at an earlier time, that Webroot claimed it unsafe so I guess thats still the case.   I'm not a gamer nor do I watch a lot of videos...so it seems I have no need for the update.....or do I need it for something else affiliated to my internet use?   As allways, your advise is appreciated.

Ok so I have a new pc I bought it for Christmas, I use it for school, dota 2, Skype, and iTunes and general we browsing, that's it. I scan my pc when I boot it up, and when I insert a flash drive to move video files-MOSTLY like 99%. So today I boot up my pc and I'm got an alert about 5-10 minutes in, saying I got adware, I get jumpy and so I let webroot do its thing and remove the threat. So just to be safe I use the webroot scanner and all's good. To make sure I restart and sure enough-another alert. This goes on for about three to four restarts. And I've gone through--49 removed threats-- and two types of malware detected which are-"W32.Adware.Adknowledge" and "Win32.LocalInfect.2" they've shown up every time I restart/power off and on. Webroot shows the location as "c:user(my pc's name)appdatalocal emp..." Then the files always show as-"octcxxxx.temp.exe" where xxxx="2cb" or "54cb" and other variations ending in"..cb". Someone Please help, thank you.

One of my new laptops (Win10) has been previously able to access the internet but is now either blocking access or is being prohibited from it. I started to download a WinZip file on Sunday and Webroot identified it as a threat and cleaned it. "winzip20-new.exe" is currently on the block list. I have not been able to access the internet with that computer since. I have run the Webroot deep scan several times but no threats are found. The computer is recognizing the Wi-Fi but is saying "No internet access." I use MAC address protection on my router and have deleted and re-entered the MAC address for the laptop. No luck. Any thoughts?

I run WebRoot, the scan results says "Threats Removed 5'.  Where do I find the info RE: the 5 threats. The scan log is not telling me.

I have a 3-seat licence which will end in a couple of weeks' time.  I have a new keycode for the 3-seat product which I assume should renew my licence for another year.  If I enter the code before the end of the current period, will this ADD a year to my current licence, or simply start a new year at that point, thus losing the remainder of my current licence?

I renewed my webroot online this morning but do not know how to load on my computer

 When I opened webroot, it said their were about 6-7 scans running at the same time, I restarted webroot, and it said "view scan process". When I clicked it, it showed that it was perparing to scan, but it didn't start. I can't stop the scan. Is there a way to fix this? This is on OS X 10.11.5

Clicked on a "Hacked by Makaveli" link. Tried rebooting and got the message "root failed." Although, I was later able to boot, but what do I do?

When typing in my email window I get a annoying delay periodically. Letters are skipped...anyone know why?
