pops up often when on various sites, wanting me to download flash, or saying warning I need to download pc help or to call a 1 800 number. Slows my pc down alot and show up when I click on anything on the page. It must be a virus acts like one, I don't need any of what the popups say. The scanner doesn't remove it though, and I am puzzled. Could it be in my ie?

Hello Webroot,   I scanned my laptop and (15) fifteen minutes later went back to the laptop to learn that the scan process had not taken place for (5) days.  Any ideas as to why the scan date and time was not (15) fifteen minutes ago when I scanned the laptop?   Thank everyone for the great advice .   Have a great weekend.   DAvid

BullPoint  malicious software still shows as installed and I am unable to remove.. Any suggestions?

Ever since I installed Webroot, the functionality of either Explorer or Chrome has gone down hill. I get messages saying I"m not connnected to the internet, unable to display page, Explorer quit working. I had no issues before Webroot!  Has anyone else experienced my issues???

I know some of you use this software. I tried it on my laptop and it worked fine. I think I might have had Norton 360 installed at the time. I was going to buy the 3 pc license but then I decided to check it on my desktop. I installeded it. Webroot was running on this pc. After the install, my internet wasn't working anymore. Maybe it just happened to go down at that exact moment? I rebooted as instructed. Was concerned about the internet. When the pc restarted, I was happy to see that the internet was back. I tried running the backup, but nothing happened. After several tries, I found an error message. I don't recall what the exact error message was. (I'll explain in a moment.) But I looked it up online. There was some indication that there was a conflict with Shadow Protect. But I don't have that product. You have to pay for it and I didn't buy it. Besides I never heard of it until I attempted to use Time Machine. Nontheless, I checked for it in my list of programs but didn't find it

When I click on a new tab, this bing bar appears on blank page.  How do you get rid of it?  Went to control panel to uninstall but did not see it listed.

when trying to scan laptop for virus' the software establishes communication, goes to collecting system status and will run for days if I let it. Never finishes.  Suggestions?

Webroot Secure Anywhere Antivirus detected malware and threat of infection while I was in the process of downloading Windows Media Player for the Updated Windows 8.1 OS.   The threat has been removed; but I don't understand the nature of it or what I can/should do to avoid a repeat.  Could there be something in my "Settings" that is leaving me open to threats?

Hi,   I am currently using Windows 7 x64 PC and using Webroot Secure AnyWhere AV.   I normally tend to do a quick deep scan to check for Malware(s). Never has Webroot detected any Malware(s) when I do a Deep scan but now for some reason when I did a full scan it says "active threats: 5" and "Threats Removed: 8".   I understand that maybe Deep scan did not detect few Malware(s). Then I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials and ran a scan with that as well to find few malware with the following name:   Trojan:Win32/Delf.M VirTool:WinNt/Siapag.gen!B Backdoor:Win32/Farfli.A Trojan:Win32/Lodap!rts Exploit:Win32/CplLnk.B  Webroot does remove few Malware(s) I have on my system but for some reason there are few Active Threats. Ok,  I have determined how to do custom scans.  Why won't the right click San with WebRoot work?

I'm suddenly inundated with ads, mainly Snipsmart.  Ran a scan but no improvement.  What should I do?  I have Webroot Scan Anywhere Anti virus.

After installing, we randomly get the ERR NO DATA RECEIVED message when trying to connect to the internet.  It's driving me crazy!  There is no rhyme or reason it just seems random.  Then all of a sudden, I get connected.

So I have Webroot installed on my computer i bought in March. I just received in my outlook on one of my email addresses 10 emails with MAIL Undelievered to people i know i didnt send emails to! I looked at the send messages and all that was in there were LINKS. I immediately changed my password for email. But do i have a virus now? My computer has been runnin slower and freezing up. I thought WEBROOT would protect me from viruses? How do i find out if i have one this Webroot gave me no messages that i did?! I dont know much about that stuff   Any help appreciated.
