Webroot

In May, someone posted that Windows Server 2016 would be supported by WR Endpoint Protection sometime in late summer or earlier.   We are about to install a brand new server with that operating system.  We really don't want to install a downgrade to 2012 just to be able to install antivirus.  Is there an update on that timing?  I assume that we can't run it at all on Windows Server 2016, or does the console just not recognize it as different from 2012?

I have been running WSA Essentials for about 9 months now. :D October 19 of this year my subscription ends for Essentials. A few weeks before the end of this subscription I would like to start WSA Complete. That will give me time to set up all my computers. I have 3 Keycodes for Complete that I bought on the Military Base. Can I consolidate those 3 Keycodes into 1 Keycode for 3 year subscription?

Hats off to Webroot Staff for clearing up to spam postings. Ive noticed a void however while searching the various topics and wondered if the Staff could comment.   Not so long ago there was a super valuable group of Forum Wizards who would come to the rescue of Webroot customers who had a question or an issue. Lately I have noticed that when a customer has a question the responders are always suggesting to open a support ticket.   Where have all those Wizards ( not that the Webroot staff aint wizards ) gone to ???? Folks like Jasper the Rasper and Sheltieuk and Acooldozen and Muddy7 and Baldrick and J.P.and especially Sherry; used to reply with a solution in the blink of an eye   To open up a support ticket seems a waste of time and a burden on the technicians compared to those Wizards who used to faithfully reply in a matter of moments.   Thumbs up for correcting the spam issue but its now time to bri

My webroot has turned a yellowish orange with a exclamation mark theres no threats detected ive scanned multiple times i have 30 days left on my subscription theres alos a triangle with a exclamation mark warning sign next to where it say My account

Anybody else getting message from Windows 10 that Webroot is off even when Webroot window says everything IS on?  At first even said Windows Defender was off but was able to turn that back on in Control Panel but not the Webroot.  Again, the Webroot window itself does show that everything is, indeed, on.  Anybody have any experience and/or advice on this?

I recently loaded a new keycode...scans work fine but I cannot access my password manager it says account deactivated! 

Hi everyone,   I had downloaded Webroot Internet security plus following purchasing the software license for three devices.  When I entered the keycode it went through and the software was up and running.  I then took that same keycode and put it in the second laptop and I received a prompt that said, "Invalid keycode".  That was strange I never had any issue in the past.  I tried entering the keycode again and before my eyes, the keycode changed.  :S   I went back to the first laptop again to check the keycode and it had changed to the same exact one that gave the "invalid keycode".    My question then becomes, has anyone ever experienced this?  Is this something new?   Thanks a bunch!    

Just trying to see how I should proceed here.   I put in Turbo Tax Disc and the system started scanning, and it scanned application folder and found an OSX.Adload in Xcode sample for the AppleTv section -requires show contents twice to get to it-.  Xcode has been installed for a while now and not s ure when the last update with Webroot / definitions.  But I s uspect its a false postive but might not be.  I tried to s ubmit the file but its the entire XCode app as the s ubmit file under safari doesn't let you show contents to dig inside.    it was located in "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/AppleTVOS.platform/Developer/Library/CoreSimulator/Profiles/Runtimes/tvOS.simruntime/Contents/Resources/RuntimeRoot/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/SiriTTS.framework/SiriTTS"    It appears to be prebuilt.  I am not s ure if I drag that file out if webroot will let me, I could turn it off and

Uninstalling "Webroot Secure Anywhere" and the Webroot Browser app from my Android (running Nougat). I tried going into settings-apps and just hitting Uninstall.  Both appear gone but doing that didn't clean all the Webroot files out. Could someone please tell me how to clean out the last of those files? From both the Webroot Secure Anywhere app and the browser app?  I looked in Administrator Settings as one post advised, but neither program shows up there anymore, so that won't help or isn't the problem. I also tried downloading an .exe file that supposedly helps uninstall the last of those Webroot files on Windows; but Android isn't Windows, and exe files won't run.  (Nor am I geek enough, sigh, to tweak anything. No real idea what I'm doing here.)  Help?  Thanks!!

I create a global policy, and apply an override to that policy. The current result is that the organization this is all done under (Organization Alpha) has that override listed in the overrides tab and associates it with that policy. However if I go to organization Beta and apply the same policy as default, it does not have the associated overrides listed in its overrides tab. Are they applied but not listed?   Thanks!

I am using Webroot's browser SecureWeb on my Android phone. If I want to download an image I hold my finger on the image and a "Download image" prompt is displayed. I then get an icon in my notifications on top that looks like a cloud with says Download failed. I do not get this issue using the Android browser nor with Chrome. Is there a setting I can change to allow me to download images using SecureWeb? 

How is it that a Company that specializes in Internet Security cant rid its own self from a mentally challenged  poster who spams an imaginary  Support  Digits day in and day out ? Its quite apparent that the new and improved mode of operation is seriously lacking.Ive been a user of Webroot for quite some time but my tolerance is being tested with an abundance of spam that Webroot cant seem to get rid of.   Earlier today I tried to send a private message but was denied because of " Bad Words " Well........there were no bad words in my message but Webroot told me that a digit was a bad word so I spelled out the digit using letters.   When I attempted to send the message I got a big Red warning that I had used up my total sum of private messages for the day and to try sending it later.   So once again I ask.....whats up with Webroot and can they clean up their act ? Hi,   We've received a new 2017 Macbook (no touchbar) with Sierra installed. For some reason we can't get Webroot installed on it.    At first when we run the .dmg, it would open, activate and before it would run the automatic scan, it shuts down. No icon in the taskbar at the top is showing. Can't open the program itself. Only the service is running in the Activity panel. We can only remove the incomplete installation via Safe mode.    Tried to drag and drop the app into the Application folder and start the app, but that also doesn't work.    Enabled the Root user and tried to install it, but that gave us the same scenario as above.    Latest version of Webroot has been downloaded.

Webroot just automatically renewed a 3 PC license taking the money directly from my bank account. The problem with that is I looked everywhere on my account for an option to stop automatic renewal , and I see no such option in mywebroot account login area. I did not have money to cover this, and my account has now been over drawn due to this. How do I stop anymore auto renewals from happening? How can I get the money returned to my bank account? Why is there no obvious way to stop automatic renewals? I have no PC to use this license on.

I just went through a problem with Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus on Windows 10 operating system where I tried to run an AutoDesk self-extracting zip executable program.  The program created a new folder where I specified on each attempt, but failed to continue with any file extractions.  I looked at the Block/Allow files on webroot, but this program was not listed.  However Windows 10 showed this program in both detailed and undetailed view for task manager. I double-clicked this executable to start it.   On one attempt I let the process continue long enough that my entire computer hung up where mouse and keyboard became unresponsive.  I had to put the computer into hibernation mode to escape.  When I exited hibernation mode, I disabled the firewall in webroot and the program imediately extracted the files and allowed me to install AutoCad on the PC.   1) Does webroot normally detect that a double-clicked execut

Hello everybody,   I just bought a Galaxy Tab S2 2016 tablet, the 9.7" with wifi and 4G lte version and  QXGA resolution.   The OS was already upgraded to Nougat 7.0. Since I like to have Webroot protection on my devices I immediately went to Play Store to install Webroot and also if I probably could install it since the install button was available on the main page, where I have the install option, there was a green label saying that the product "could not be optimized for my device". Other android antivirus did not have this warning. Could someone give me some info about it? Can I simply ignore the thing and install Webroot or else................. Thanks in advance Best Wishes

I recently restarted (Feb. 9th 2018) Google Chrome to let it update; however, I suddenly got the Webroot Filtering Extension when I do not own it. It says that my company put it there, but I am a student on my home computer that I built myself. Extremely confused as to why Webroot Filtering is there now. Wondering how to get rid of it.
